Please note that a decorated cake is the creators own artistic work and falls within the parameters of a copyright. 

In the event where a sample image is sent as an idea, we cannot produce an exact replica thereof as this would infringe on copyright restrictions. 
We will however, customize the design to meet the client’s requirements. 

Cakes may differ from supplied pictures in size, dimension and colour.

Pictures of all products designed and baked by DecadenceBySumi may be used in promotional activities for DecadenceBySumi.

DecadenceBySumi takes all necessary precautions in its operations however, we accept no liability for damage, loss or harm caused by the use of any item provided by ourselves.

Customers make use of all items at their own risk. Items may include, but are not limited to, boxes, ribbons, candles, sparklers, toys, and any edible goods. 

All edible goods could contain traces of allergens including, but not limited to, gluten, eggs, dairy, nuts.

Orders must be placed at least 14 days before the event. 
Late orders may be accepted at our discretion and if our schedule allows for it.

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure the order.
The balance of the price must be paid by EFT no later than 3 days before the event (to allow for electronic funds to clear).
Alternatively paid in cash on the day of collection/delivery. The order will not be handed over until full payment is made. 

Cupcakes are produced in batches of 12. Each batch may only be of one flavour.

Once a client has indicated acceptance of the details of an order no changes will be permitted without a reassessment of the orders cost.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all details on the invoice are as per their specification.

All orders cancelled within 72 hours of the delivery/collection date will be charged for in full.

In the event of an order being secured and then cancelled earlier than 72 hours of delivery or collection, 50% of the order value will be forfeited.

Delivery/Collection Times:

Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 18:00.
Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays: 07:00 – 12:00.
If collection/delivery required outside of these hours it must be pre-arranged. We cannot guarantee availability if no prior arrangements have been made.

Collection:
If an order has not been collected more than 45 minutes after a pre-arranged time, a late collection fee will be required before collection will be allowed.

Delivery:
If there is no person available to hand the order to, we will wait for 15 minutes after the agreed delivery time at the delivery address.
We will wait no longer than 30 minutes charged at R50 per 15 minutes after this.
If at that time the goods have not been collected we will leave them at the available reception area (if applicable and willing to receive), otherwise we will retain the goods at our premises.
